Pros: Easy installation of Kubuntu Linux (32-bit) on Dell Inspiron 8000. Cons: None.
This computer came pre-installed with Windows 2000 Pro, which is not a terrible OS. It is slow, however.Still, like all things Windows, it eventually got hit with something. A virus, a trojan, a "malicious update" installed by Microsoft itself. ...

Pros: Endless options, features, all too numerous to count in 15 words. Cons: The internet explorer error I encountered when I first turned it on...
We just got our computer in the mail, not three days ago. Its specifically, a Dell Inspiron 8100. The only gripe about it I have yet, is the fact that it has Windows ME on it, but I hope to remedy that soon enough. The first time I turned it on and...

Pros: Lots of power, long battery life, modular bay, decent RAM limit, mini-PCI... Cons: None.
I bought my I8K a year ago, and I love it! I have had no problems with it, and I have been giving it hell. I have never seen a computer (except its brother, a DEll XPS T750) work so hard.
I have never drained my batteries, even using multiple...

Pros: Mobile Game Play & a cracking looking computer. Cons: Well... size and Moore's Law
Boy did I research this one with its price tag. Was it worth it?
Well firstly Moore's Law ( a founder member of Intel): Every 18 months the speed of processors will double while the price will half.
In other words if you wait 18...

Pros: It's a lot more powerful than my previous desktop. Cons: It's a bit heavy like everyone has said.
While the average price listed for this model is about $2800, I bought my Inspiron 8000 from the Dell Refurbished website and got the laptop(with 128MbRAM, 10G HD and P3-600) plus the advanced port replicator and a 17inch monitor for under $1700.

Pros: great service, great product, best on the market Cons: NONE
After reviewing a lot of different laptops on the market, my choice was with dell. I had bought a lot of computer equipment in my time, especially from computer shows, and 3rd party vendors. I never imagined myself buying a name brand PC or anything...

Pros: Fast and has a hug monitor Cons: it weighs a lot
I give it only 3 stars because it doesnt delivery on the primary premise of a notebook - mobility, its weight is just too much!!
I bought this notebook about six months ago and for the most part I love it. The 15" screen is simply superb,...

For years my family has always bought Dell computers. When I decided to purchase my laptop for college, I knew what I wanted. I went online and chose a Dell Inspiron 8000. It's great. I download a lot of mp3's and the system runs them really well. I...

Pros: Customizable, works very well, Dell has excellent customer service Cons: Might run into technical problems sometimes, a little bit heavier compared to some laptops
This laptop is definitely one of the best decisions I've made. Since it was customizable, I was able to choose exactly what I wanted, and what I didn't need. I ran into a problem with the display screen a little bit after I purchased my laptop, but...

this laptop is like a desktop you can take with you anywhere you want to go. It offers many different options and is easy to upgrade later. I recently upgrade my memory within minutes and gave the old memory chip to my brother who has an Inspiron 4000...
