Pros: infinately expandable, thousands of apps available Cons: NONE!
I have recently purchased a Handspring Visor Deluxe (orange), and I love it! Not only is it fully compatible with the thousands of palm apps available on the web, it is infinately expandable. If you run out of memory, you can always add more. You...

Pros: EXPANDABILITY, gadgets, infrared transmission, games, free and inexpensive software, accessories, fun, and useful. Cons: Can't upgrade the PalmOS, easily scratched screen, not color screen, wish it had rechargeable battery.
My life has never been so organized as it is now with my Handspring Visor Deluxe. Like my cell phone, I wonder how I ever survived before. I am a very forgetful person, and my Visor, working in conjunction with my PC, keeps me on track.

Pros: Absolutely wonderful!! Can't live without the convenience or the compact size. Cons: Needs AAA batteries
Working on the road, you tend to not be so neat. Your documents get crumpled, torn or blown out the car window. Not so long ago I used a "DayTimer" type personal minder binder. Again, the calendar pages blew out the window, got torn or I couldn't find...

Pros: More Memory than the Palm, Springboard Modules offer expanded possibilities. A real workhorse. Cons: Horrible backlight. Handspring is discontinuing their modules.
In the battle of the PDA wars, the common foot soldier/ prospective buyer has to make a few compromises. Color or Monochrome screen (that color screen is nifty but a real battery-eater), Operating System (there's a lot of software for the Palm OS but...

Pros: Reasonable price, 8 MB RAM, Springboard expansion slot, Nice clear screen. Cons: There aren't that many expansion objects for the Springboard slot, YET!
I had wanted to get a Palm for some time, until I saw an ad for the Handspring Visor Deluxe. I promptly picked one up and it was a very wise move. It came with that a 3Com palm has and more. 8 MB RAM, Springboard expansion slot, USB cradle all for...

Pros: Springboard expansion slot. 8MB RAM. Metal stylus. Cons: Palm OS is not upgradable. Backlighting doesn't help in most low-light situations.
I chose the Visor Deluxe as my first handheld computer for several reasons. The Springboard slot intrigued me, especially with Handspring's own backup module for users who didn't synchronize to a desktop (or who wanted a second method to ensure data...

Pros: Lots of neat options some are not yet available Cons: Problems with getting tech support
I bought a Handspring Visor Deluxe because I wanted to organize my life. I liked the cheaper price and the ability to piggy-back back-up, storage, music, and a modem in the future. My experience was that after 3 successful hot-syncs, I was unable to...

Pros: A palm and so much more Cons: Infrared on the side
Well a little late but worth waiting for. The Visor is exactly what I expected a better version of the Pilot and who better to do that than the creators of the origional Pilot. I plan to purchase the Deluxe version in Graphite as colour is not a big...

Pros: Small, expandable Cons: Not wireless integrated
All the great things Palm provides + the Springboard module makes the Visor to a winner. It is lighter and slimmer than the Palm III, but except from that, nothing much is different.
Best of all, Handspring management's deep understanding of the...

Pros: Customer Support, Price, Quality. Cons: I'll let you know when I find one.
Witht the release of the $150 Visor and $250 Visor Deluxe, defenetly gave 3com a wake up call. 3COM has been in the market for years and Handsrping comes along and starts kicking butt. I must say that I love my Visor Deluxe for sooo many reasons. Its...

Second Revision, After a couple weeks of use
I have been using my Handspring mostly to play games. I found that it syncs well with the programs that I use. I haven't had a chance to find out how well it is going to work with my macintosh at...

Pros: Light, small, Springboard slot, Palm OS Cons: Difficult to read via backlight except in near-total darkness
I've had my Visor Deluxe for several months now, and I couldn't be more satisfied with it's performance or ease of use. I've been a die-hard fan of Windows CE for several years, despite its limitations, because of its flexibility. However, WinCE machines...

Pros: Small, USB and Serial connection to PC's, easy to use, expandable, lots of software available, just plain looks cool! Cons: Mine seems to suck down the batteries
For a long time, I've been looking for a way to organize my thoughts and work on writing when not around a computer. My computer stifles my creative thinking.
So I bought a cool blue visor and a flash cart, and I can sit down anywhere now and...

Pros: ALL GOOD Cons: Waiting for hardware to be developed
I did my research, the HandSpring Visor Delux. I was looking at the Palm V in order to do my research. Palm V has 2meg of Ram the Visor has 8meg of Ram. Four times more that the Palm V. The expandable slot on the Visor promises to be the best part. There...

Pros: easy to use and pretty Cons: 8 bit grayscale
I have had my handspring for over 4 months now and I am really happy with it. I thought it would pose some problems because of the desktop program but I have discovered that visor has improved the desktop program and that everything works with it, I'm...
