Pros: - Good value for the money Cons: - Something of a battery hog
I belong to that class of people who earn their livings off of the Information Age. I work in a high-tech job in a high-tech hot-bed, not Silicon Valley. I write computer documentation for a living. Having several book projects in varying stages of...

Pros: PDAs are useful, more than a toy. Cons: This PDA is cheap and flimsy feeling.
I recently purchased a blue Handspring Visor Deluxe. Since there are already 140 or so opinions, I will focus on a few key topics I think prospective buyers should know:
(1) Overall, the thing is very useful. I have tried various methods to...

Pros: Great price, 8 megs of ram, 5 colors, expandable Cons: infrared sensor is on the side not on the top
I have been a palm pilot user for 2 years and love my palm III; I have been looking at the Palm IIIx or the Palm V because of the new screen. Then someone told me about 'Handsprings' new Visor. I couldn't believe the features that the Visor Deluxe had...

Pros: Good value, simple design and to learn, good app availability Cons: Cheesy stylus, limited springboard module selection
Do you need something to store addresses. Take quick notes? Make a note of a Web site you heard on the way to work? The Visor is fine. In fact all Palms would be fine.
PERSPECTIVE:
If you're looking to develop software, create...

Pros: Cool look Cons: Battery life, sync time, utility
Why did I purchase the handspring?
I wanted to get an organizer that could sync to Outlook and had the option of using the handspring modules
Why do I not recommend it?
Four reasons: One,the battery is a hog. Mine...

Pros: Good Price, Springboard Slot Cons: Screen is hard to read under some conditions
PDA, PDA, Who’s got the PDA?
I’ve had my PDA for about 1 month now. I finally decided that it was time to leave my pocket address book and calendar and join the electronic revolution. I’ve thought about this before, but never felt that the...

Pros: Price, 8mb memory, and color case Cons: no flash memory and non rechargeable battery
I was in the market for a PDA and came across the Visor Deluxe owned by a friend of mine. He recommended it and I went to the web page and ordered it not knowing what to expect. I was delighted to see it runs on Palm OS. It's basically a Palm with...

Pros: 8mb of memory, choice of colors, price, Springboard Modules are great for gadget lovers and most others, USB hot-syncing, 2 AAA batteries Cons: leather case that comes with it is very small and I recommend getting a new case, Springboard Modules are costly, a little too big too fit in most pockets, Palm OS is not upgradable
So.....are you thinking about getting a PDA? Which one should you get? I think I know. I wanted a PDA for under $300 and, well, this is what i got. This is by no doubt the best PDA I have ever seen, and I think you will agree. Its 8 megs of memory...

Pros: Palm OS, large memory capacity Cons: would be absolutely fabulous if spare set of AAA batteries would fit into the "blank" springboard cover. But the hint I found somewhere about unscrewing spare stylus into 3 pieces and storing there works good too!
Had been looking at Palm options for a while..and was aware of the pending Visor release. When it came on the market (for internet purchase only at first) I decided it was an easy decision. Palm OS, next generation concepts, and was about $200 cheaper...

Pros: Relatively cheap, expandable, and has everything that most users should need. Cons: Dropping back on the technology curve for the technophiles, slightly awkward IR port placement.
When I looked for a PDA, I had a few goals in mind. It had to be expandable, it had to be fairly simple to use, it had to have a large base of applications, it had to be rugged enough for daily use, and, most importantly, it had to be cheap enough for...

Pros: Expansion slot, lots of space, great price for product Cons: Semi-fragile, backlight useless
For the longest time, I refused to get a PDA. I had my paper address book and paper planner, and that was all I needed. Sure, it was a bit tough to carry it all around, but it worked ok for me. Then I started to change my mind when I realized that a...

Pros: Expandable, good customer service, inexpensive. Cons: No light up screen, not many available peripherals.
AAAH! Just when we thought we were over cell-phone ubiquity, here comes a brand new menace - the Attack of the PDAs! It seems that everyone was busting out with a PalmPilot at buisiness meetings, family functions, etc.
"Do you have any...

Pros: Lowish price. Lots of 3rd party solutions to shortcomings. Convienent form. Cons: Springboards are expensive. Poor construction. Needs more functionality "out of the box"
I just passed my Visor on to a friend after using it for about 18 months. I loved the visor, but it took a little work (and money) to give it the power I needed.
The built-in apps are adequate to make the visor a good day-planner.

Pros: Color Selection, 8 MB of RAM, multiple data input options, Palm OS, HotSync included, good configurability Cons: Backlight's battery drain, email program included is beyond basic, only three system fonts, Graffiti can be hard to grasp with the hard to find guide
It started with my boyfriend's constant teasing of me with my floating post-it notes everywhere, and our joint frustration at the hassle of flipping through notebooks and searching for those little notes when we need some info. He made the suggestion of...
