Pros: Nice picture quality Cons: Can't say in less than 15 words!
When we purchased this printer, we were happy with the demo that printed relatively quickly (a *lot* faster than my previous printer, a HP 560C), and that the picture quality was very nice. When I think back on this, I can make the analogy of a puppy;...

Pros: Low price Cons: Hassle, hassle, Hassle
Of all the printers I have owned or used, the Lexmark 1100 has been the lowest price and the biggest hassle. The quality that this printer puts out is average. Often colors are faded, and are not a decent representation of what is seen on the...

Pros: inexpensive Cons: flimsy paper trays
I bought this printer as a backup to my laser printer and so that I can print in color if I want. I decided on the Lexmark 1100 because it was $79 and had a $50 rebate from Lexmark so it was the least expensive option. I have purchased a Lexmark 5700...

Pros: Price, Price, Price Cons: Poor speed and quality
I paid $20 for this printer. That right...$20.00. $70.00 sale price plus a $50.00 dollar rebate. I realize that that is less than one replacement cartridge is bound to cost me and trust me that I do keep in mind what I paid for this machine when...

Pros: Easy to use Cons: quality
We got this printer when we got the computer. We have had for about 6 months now. I am the own that uses it the most often. This is our first computer so we had pretty much no clue on how to do anything. I finally figured out that you can put more than...

Pros: Ease of use, cheap price, availability Cons: Cheap manufacture/is not durable, paper jams
I bought my Lexmark 1100 with my first computer. As with other reviewers, my reasons for buying it were: it was cheap and available. It has been a serviceable machine with its share of problems.
The one thing I never had problems with was...

Pros: LIGHTWEIGHT, EASY TO USE, GREAT PRICE & VERY GOOD COPIES Cons: A LITTLE SLOW ON COLOR COPIES
We already have a NEC SuperScript 660plus printer for the past 2 years and have been perfectly content with the item. Only problem was that it did not do color copies only black & white. When I saw the Lexmark products on sale, we decided to...

Pros: Cheap, small, easy to use printer program Cons: Recently acting up (program error), one cartridge slot only, recommend re ink kit.
About two years ago, I bought the Lexmark 1100 for a cheap amount of $99. At first it was the most luxurious type of printer at the time. Unlike these big room consuming printers, Lexmark 1100 was a small printer that took only a small fraction of my...

Pros: For a cheap printer, it will do an O.K. job, but that's all. Cons: The new "Compaq" and "Samsung" compliant cartridges don't work in it.
I bought the Lexmark 1100 Inkjet printer a couple years ago. It was my first. I bought it at Sun TV. A year later, Sun TV went out of business! Oh well. For a while, the Lexmark served my purposes.
How It Prints: Makes a lot of noise. Almost...

Pros: Low Price, High Quality, Long Cartridge Life Cons: Cartridges are a liiiiiiiittle expensive, but they last a long time so it's not a big deal
The Lexmark 1100 was a free add-on when I purchased my IBM Aptiva two summers ago. As such, I was expecting a lesser quality printer. Boy was I wrong!!!
My printer is STILL on the same cartridge it had when I bought it, and believe me, I...

Pros: Cheap! Cons: Uses lots of ink, paper jams.
I was looking for a cheap printer for my second computer. I knew I wouldn't do a lot of printing and it didn't need to be prefect quality. I got the Lexmark 1100 for $35 after a $30 rebate. The cost of the ink cartridge that came with it is $30 to...

Pros: Cheap, Cheap, Cheap Cons: Slow printer, Small & Expensive Print Cartridges
The cheap Lexmark 1100 is often "bundled" with discounted computer systems. That's how I acquired this turkey. It is a VERY SLOW printer. I just printed a test page, and it took the Lexmark 2 minutes and 10 seconds to churn out a single page....

Pros: inexpensive, doesn't take up much space Cons: bad paper feed, poor print quality
This is a very inexpensive printer that proves the old adage is true, you get what you pay for!
To start with, we have had frequent problems with the printer improperly feeding paper. It also will pull large amounts of paper through at the...

Pros: Cost Effective Cons: Poor Image Quality
The Lexmark ColorJet 1100 Is a very goo printer. It is affordable (Cartridges from $20-30). The printing quality could however be better, It has its times where it smudges. And that brings me to another point, When it finish printing you can't touch...
