Pros: Can hold up to 120 MB on SuperDisks. Uses standard floppies too. Very portable.
Cons: Ties up your parallel port. Very slow.
Summary: I purchased this drive to have a means to back up large files and to more easily transfer files between my computer and my girlfriends. As it turns out, the thing was more trouble than it was worth.

Pros: Media is (comparatively) cheap, reads regular floppies.
Cons: Slow, and ties up yet another socket on your power strip.
Summary: Magnetic media technology has come a long way since the days of 8 inch single sided floppies. With companies perfecting their optical/magnetic recording technologies all over the place, competition for your mass-storage dollar is getting fierce.
