Pros: Cheap, reliable and quick.
Cons: 2meg buffer, no performance difference from 32x comparable models.
Summary:
Prior to purchasing the 52x, I had a Plextor 16x writer. On average it would take 4 to 5minutes to burn 700meg onto a disc. The 52 can do it in a max of 3minutes 9seconds on my system. Just for clarification, my system is no slug either!.. we're ... read more

Pros: Decent recording speeds, excellent value
Cons: Can't use for recording to DVD's

Summary: There are two LG-CDRWs. CED-8041B is 4x(W),2x(RW),24(R) and CED-8042B is 4x(W),4x(RW),24(R). Others are same, I think. Personally I bought CED-8042B.
