Pros: The pricing required me to buy this one.
Cons: Speed may be slower than the new stuff, but for the price, I'll wait.
Summary: This CDRW is available at $70 US and with their $40 rebate and a coupon for $10, the drive can be had for $20. I'm certain I'll love this drive. You should be able to do all of this at Staples.

Pros: Low cost and easy to follow instructions for installation of the unit and software.
Cons: Did not work. Would not fit properly in the drive bay. Poor Philips customer service.

Pros: Easy to use,Comes with Adaptec software.Inexpensive.
Cons: Takes 9 minutes or longer to burn. Software does not convert mp3's to wav files.
Summary: I purchased this item as I needed to be ablee to have back up files saved. Regular floppys just didn't cut the mustard. I also download mp3's and needed a way to make them playable on my car cd player.
