Pros: Easy to install and use. Provides good scans for the typical SOHO and home user.
Cons: Flatbed scanners use up great areas of real estate. .

Pros: Inexpensive, can bemade to work with Windows 7
Cons: Slow scan speed. Special considerations to attach to a newer PCIe bus computer.
Summary: This is an older scanner that can also scan negatives and transparencies up to 8x10 and is an inexpensive alternative to a newer model. It uses the old Centronic SCSI type connection but can be made to work with Windows 7 and LSI PCI host
