Pros: Low cost, good quality scanner
Cons: Had to adjust parallel port settings.
Summary: I just completed a scan of 500 photos with the Paperport 6100B scanner, and I am quite happy with the results. This five-year-old scanner held up quite well during the operation, and still gives high quality results.

Pros: Ease of use, quality imaging, solid rep.
Cons: Can't put your dog on it, or 3D items in general.
