¤¤ A Candy Cane With The Marshmallow Knife ¤¤

by SaLT , Jun 01 '00
Pros: Great Multimedia, Low-Frequency Bass, Pricing. Overall, it has served me well.
Cons: Bass Adjustment Missing From Particular Model
I walked down the long corridor of my house, cloaked with night as the warmth evaded the atmosphere. Creeping down the hallway, I noticed a candle, dimly lit with a turquoise fog. Baffled, I picked it up, only to realize I was holding that of...

I got these speakers at staples for $14.99 plus tax. Well the original price was $54.99 - $20 rebate - $20 off coupon + free shipping = $14.99.

My previous speakers cost me around $40 and there is no way to compare. These speakers don't...

by DPU2002 , Dec 28 '99

Pros: Great sound quality
Cons: none
I bought this product online and was very pleased with the quality of the speakers. The subwoofer really gives it a home stereo type of atmosphere when listening to music on my pc. I've got nothing but good comments from friends when they come over....

Altec Lansing 2.1

by devin_oates , Dec 04 '03
Pros: Affordable
Cons: Large harmonic distortion
About the only good thing I can say about these speakers is that they are affordable. These speakers distort sound incredibly bad. Especially bass. At around 110 Hz, the sub doesn't put out a constant tone, rather it just makes a noise that...

Sleek, Stylish, and Just Plain Cool

by orion522 , Sep 27 '00
Pros: Small, stylish, inexpensive.
Cons: No pass-through ports for another set of speakers.
I bought this little doohickie because I figured, hey, what the heck. It was inexpensive, only 59.99, and it sounds incredible! Isn't that what a subwoofer is supposed to do anyway? Whether you're listening to MP3s or playing hardcore video games,...

High Quality Speakers For Low Price!

by psycobreed , Nov 29 '00
Pros: Clear, Powerful, Good Price and Value.
Cons: Bass too powerful
I just ripped open my box of these speakers today and plugged it into my computer and within a minute, i was blown away. I have an extremely crappy ass sound card (Inland ALI-1000 or something) that I bought for 5 bucks at the local Fry's and still...

I first purchsed a 3 peice speaker set by a generic company by the name of micro. It sounded great, but when I saw the Altec Lansing Acs33 for the smae price as the Micro speakers I thought to myself, "Hey, the Altec Lansings must be better, after all it...

Great Cheap Speakers
by rombot ,Feb 23 '04
Pros: Great sound for the price
Cons: Slight hissing when volume turned all the way up
Well I got these speakers when some idiot killed the old ones by using the wrong power supply when messing with cables, and I must say for only costing $30 these pump out some great sound, in light of what I was thinking of getting (4.1 system)

I have the sub under my desk so everything sounds great there and the two sat. speakers on the sides of my monitor.

I only have one con and that is a slight hissing when the volume is all the way up, but that is easily fixed by turning down the volume dial on the speakers a little, Not like you should really need it that loud anyways.
