I'm very frustrated by the constant lag that forces me to not use pal talk very often. Sound breaks up or lags horribly.

Pros: always someone online to chat to
Cons: too many pop ups and ads

I really enjoy the online meetings I get from paltalk.
It is a great service and is 99 percent reliable.
Cant stand the pop ups though

well what can i say about pal talk everyone is always there to welcome you into the rooms there is no swearing or rudeness it is a pleasure been in pal talk some dont leave at the side they know you are there

Pros: More secure and better room control then Yahoo. Free support.
Cons: cams and file transfer is buggy. To much time put on GUI verses stablilty.

I have been on many Instant messenger programs and I think Paltalk is one of the 2 best I have seen. Paltalk has its problems don't get me wrong but compared to other Instant messenger clients it is a much safer platform for adults and teens. Well anyone can create a room but in that room you the person that created it has some form of control. abusers can be removed or privileges can be revoked said abuser. The only thing I see is that Paltalk may get into the hype of other Instant messenger on the Internet. A good GUI is nice but stability is the key to any program. If all features do not work who cares if it looks good. On another note Paltalk does care about its users. Security controls are set in so anyone abusing the Paltalk network can be removed from the forum or from Paltalk. Caring about the end users is a key to making Paltalk a user friendly Instant messenger client. I would like to see Paltalk get back to basics tho and spend more time working on what made Paltalk great.

it is ok, the new paltalk is a pain to use, sometimes the admins (reds) are helpful. its a great program if they would listen to the users to make it better. customer service is mediocre at best, they take forever to get back to you if they even do.

Pros: worth the effort it takes to make it worthwhile
Cons: has frequent problems in the music end of the spectrum.

Although I've been a loyal contributor of this system, I am quite sure that there is a lot more that can be done about it. It's a valuable resource for people all over the face of this lonely planet of ours and needs quite a bit of re-thinking to make it all it can be.

Pros: you can streaming video and voice in most rooms,your family can enjoy this site.
Cons: can think of any cons to it at all, the admins are the best

I joined Paltalk out of a whim, I wanted to check the site out. I have met many people there, of all ages and countries.
They have groups in which to choose from, from general to adult.
There are paltalk helpers, and administration people, that make the rooms enjoyable.
They offer free help for all, in all languages, for video and voice. and almost any kind of tech help.
This isone of the most enjoyable sites around.

I have been working on PalTalk for not along time but from the first i knew that this program will give me the enough ways to communicate with other people and for this i had bought it, I love the number of groups and the large database of people who is using this program and i hate on it nothing

Paltalk started out as a nice and simple program that delivered, but due to owners greed in chasing the dollar, has now overstretched its abilities and reduced stability of the program and has reduced subscription options for people. Bannerless and ad free now costs a minimum of approx $50US per annum, however, even paying does not stop all ads etc. Six video screens?? Why 6? We only have 2 eyes after all.

Constant "shutting down for maintenance upgrades" are obnoxious, constant problems using various parts of program due to Paltalk Server faults, lack of assistance, total lack of response to support requests via email, all lead to a failure on Paltalk's side. It clearly seems that Paltalk gets your money, then you can sit back and be forgotten.

I have been using Paltalk since 1998 when it first launched and since then there has been several different upgrades and versions but this newest version has got to be the best i have ever used...I am able to come on here and have live 1 on 1 chat with video that is such good quality i feel like i am actually next to the person...I would like to say Well Done to Paltalk and keep up the hard work..your doing great..Luvs ya Jay_DB

They have a great concept and are set up to prevent abusive people from scaring others away. Anyone can find a topic of interest and a secure place to talk about it.

Pros: Easy to install, easy to navigate. Great voice connections and strong against hackers.
Cons: Very few graphics. Ad based for the free client.

Paltalk is a great chat client if you wish to debate issues. Its free and if you wish to upgrade its even better with the video.

After paltalk decided they were going to change the log on for accounts,then made the progam cost 10bux more a year, who in the hell would want to stay and pay to play? I see they have lost a lot of blue names all for the same reasons. I cannot get in to change my old email address so I could pay for my account again. Support is a JOKE, mail them and see what I mean. You sit in those rooms loaded with tarted humans that cant think on thier own and you wait for hours sometimes only to go away with no info on your problems.They lost a paying customer in me over thier own stupidity. I wont pay for a program that cant help out thier own -payed for- customers.Soon it will be another internet chat death, just like all the rest.

They run a very poor standard chat room program, and their excuse is it is run by the owners of the room and to try another room, Paltalk owns these rooms regardless what they say, they are run by people who have no professional training. When a problem arises Paltalk is no help they send you a auto response (if you are lucky)When you go into a help room it gets worse, these administrators need training.
