Pros: POP3 accessible Cons: Small Quota, getting bigger
Yahoo mail is generally an excellent web-based email service. It is fast and has a very minimal design.
The feature which most clinches it for me is the ability to configure my POP email client (outlook, eudora, etc) to retrieve my Yahoo mail....

Pros: nice integration with other Yahoo services, great spam filter, easy to use Cons: mail server not always available
Why is Yahoo! the best choice for free email service? How about the ability to check your other POP accounts OR check your Yahoo mail FROM your POP accounts? How about Outlook synchronization? How about Palm synchronization?
If that's not...

Pros: Fast, efficient, limited advertising Cons: Occasionally down
I have been using Yahoo Mail for several years now. I think it is a fantastic service and I recommend it to everyone. Unlike other mail services, Yahoo mail has kept advertising to a minimum. There have been a few times that the service has been...

Pros: free Cons: none really
My husband and I both have a Yahoo! mail account. Yahoo mail is one of the easiest that I have dealt with.
They now split your mail into two different inboxes. One for bulk email and one for emails that were actually sent to your email...

Pros: rich in useful features Cons: sometimes slow, worthy competitors
I am a big fan of Yahoo! email. It is chock full off features that honestly I would be happy to pay for. I am not going to go over all the standard features that every internet email program possesses, what I will mention are the little extras that...

Pros: free, easy to use, all the features of Hotmail without the spam Cons: none yet
I know there's a plethora of opinions on this subject already, but I can't help but voice my opinion on Yahoo! because it's a subject that has me fired up. Not about Yahoo! itself, but about how Hotmail became so horrible that I was forced to find an...

Pros: I like every feature of Yahoo Mail that I've tried. Cons: Sometimes it, or the internet, is plain slow.
I guess if the stock is going for $174 or whatever, Yahoo will survive without my acclaim. But I want to record the epinion that it's a class act.
The Yahoo Home page is really remarkable because it is so functional. Many home pages are...

Pros: 6mb of space, address storage, calender, pop3 access, etc... Cons: Well, maybe sometimes Yahoo! Mail would accidently put the important e-mails into your bulk mail folder, but that really isnt that much of a problem.
!!!Yahoo! Mail vs Hotmail!!!
In my opinion, Yahoo! mail is WAYYYYY better than Hotmail. Here is the difference between Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail:
E-mail Storage
Yahoo! Mail offers 5 mbs of e-mail storage. Hotmail only...

Pros: Awesome service, speed, options, access methods Cons: puts a "this was sent with yahoo! mail" tag at the bottom of all emails
Okay, so you hear "free email!". Yeah, thats something new, who ever thought you'd be able to get free email. But this one is different from the others. Services like mail.com and hotmail often have server downtime, so when your friends are...

Pros: Well integrated, utilitarian but easily navigated Cons: Only 3mb space for emails/attachments
Yahoo is a brand I will probably stick with for most of my life. While I rarely use the Yahoo search engine (I like www.dogpile.com myself), Yahoo! Mail is incredibly useful for me. As there are many, many competing free web-based emailers out there, I...

Pros: My.Yahoo capabilities Cons: None I can think of
Honestly, I had been using a HAL interface to check e-mail because I was part of my school's system. For those of you who remember 2001 A Space Odyssey, the HAL interface was developed about the same time as the movie, late 70's. Horrible, slow, no...

Pros: same pros as every other free email system Cons: small disk space
Now a days, you can get free email everywhere. The services don't vary that much but this is what I would look for.
1. Disk space. Yahoo only gives you 3 MB which means you must clear your trash folder quite often.
2. Address book -...

Pros: good email, Yahoo companion, Yahoo messenger Cons: ?
I think Yahoo has a good service. Easy to use and it always works for me. One of the best features that Yahoo has that makes it better than all the others is the Yahoo companion. It is a little bar that attaches under the address space. It alerts you...
