Pros: It's everywhere you want to be Cons: 3Meg storage capacity
Besides all Greenday mentioned, I got Yahoo! Mail because I am married to a computer geek. He must try the latest & greatest of everything computer. Do you know how many ISPs a computer geek will have in the 15 years we've been online? Now that...

Pros: fabulous variety of useful options Cons: no "unsend" option
Yahoo mail is a superb e-mailing system. It covers the basic needs of an e-mail account and also provides extra options you won't find anywhere else. Unfortunately there are one or two things that keep it away from 100% superiority to every other...

Pros: Easy sign up, excellent accessibility, lots of drive space, spam blocker. Cons: Sometimes Yahoo can be slow, speed varies with ISP.
A long time ago, I used to have four email accounts because I wanted desperately to avoid unwanted spammers. After a few months, I felt that this was completely confusing and an utter waste of time so I decided to settle with Yahoo Mail. A few friends of ...

Yahoo used to be one of my favorite e-mail providers some times back. Free SMTP, free POP3, an excellent address book, usable filters and all the works. Then the corporate greed entered the picture.
Let's analyze Yahoo as an e-mail provider...

Pros: reliable, allows access to other pop3 accounts, easy spam blocking Cons: it's web based.
Background
I have been using Yahoo Mail for almost 3 years. I originally got it back in 1998 when I got my first 'real' job at a major engineering company. Due to firewalls and other security measures, I was unable to telnet (I LOVE...

Pros: fast, easy to use Cons: not as many features, no flashy colors, limits signature file & attachments
I used to be a happy Hotmail user. I actually used the program before it was taken over by Microsoft. Hotmail used to be fast and easy to use; it used to be very reliable - but then it changed. Suddenly with the Microsoft takeover, I was hit with...

Pros: Webmail, and, did I mention, POP3? Cons: Occasional server connection problems.
For all of you out there who can't stand even the principle of web-based email, rest assured: you're not alone. Web-based email seems as stupid and obnoxious to me as it would to say: "You can only read your mail while standing at your...

Pros: Free, pop option. Cons: Slow and often down, delayed email delivery.
And I thought Hotmail was bad!
Compared to Hotmail, Yahoo is just as bad, if not worse! I used to use Hotmail a lot but because it came with only 2 megabytes of storage space I had to look for some other free web-mail service and went with...

Pros: free Cons: Limited space
Perhaps I am in the minority here but I don't care too much for Yahoo Mail. I'm going to keep it though for contests and sweepstakes so I'm grateful it is free. It just wasn't enough memory for the mail I receive. Well, I get a lot of mail, especially...

I use My Yahoo. As part of that service, I use Yahoo’s web based email. I might as well, since I am already at My Yahoo checking news, stocks, weather, and other general information. My Yahoo is a highly configurable environment. And, the configuration...
