Pros: Automatic forwarding, Web-based Cons: Only 3 megs of storage
There are as many free email services on the Internet as there are game shows that give away a million dollars. Well, it seems so anyway. Ninety-nine percent of these are interchangeable, they don’t stand out from the others, and they all offer the...

Pros: so many options Cons: 3MB space
I had a free e-mail account through Rocketmail, and last fall when Yahoo! Mail bought them and transferred out e-mail addresses, I thought, "Oh, great." I wasn't sure what I was getting in to, but used the e-mail address too much to risk...

Pros: Not cluttered, pop access via any email program Cons: The option to not include your email address in their directory is the equivalent to the fine print at the bottom of a contract
First of all, I'd like to say that unless you switch ISPs on a regular basis, I don't think webmail can replace an email address provided by your ISP. No matter which free webmail account you have, whether it be Hotmail, Yahoo, or Netscape, chances are...

Pros: Never had a single problem Cons: max storage of 3MB could be a problem for people that get more than 100 messages a day
I have been using Yahoo Mail for over a year now and I've never had any problems with it. It has never crashed when I have been on. The site has never been shut down for repairs. It always opens as soon as I type the URL into my browser.

Pros: Fast, reliable, easy to use and with a 6 megabyte limit mailbox! Cons: Can't attach files bigger than 1.5 megs.
If you want email that is fast, reliable and easy to use, then I really recommend Yahoo! Mail to you. It is probably the best email service out there. I have used other email services in the past (Hotmail, Excite, Go.com, etc.), probably over 50...

Pros: Free & Interesting Email Functions Cons: None

Pros: Yahoo e-mail beats Hotmail and Netscape and ME in my book Cons: Not good to rely on a single e-mail account.
I suspect there are 100 equally good approaches to e-mail, but this little offering may be useful to some. I use different accounts for different categories of mail.
So while I will say nice things about Yahoo here (I chose it as the best...

Pros: Great service, good layout, good capacity for large amounts of mail and address book contacts Cons: not enough storage (3 MB) and doesn't empty trash upon logout (I bet after writing this I'll discover that they do indeed have this option and I just didn't know about it!)
I have had my Yahoo account since November (ap_empress, right now it's June) and that's the longest I've been able to keep an account without getting sick of it! Yahoo rocks! It's great for people who have to deal with a lot of mail, and its filters are...

Pros: Free, easy to use, good sized inbox (3mb) Cons: 3mb may not be enough for some people.
I don't really use my Yahoo email box as much as I used to, more due to having picked out a pretty poor username than any faults with the service though. If I could start afresh, I would definitely pick something a lot more useable, but to shift...

Pros: free, POP, service upgrades available Cons: none
I was introduced "by force" into Yahoo! Mail when Yahoo and Geocities combined last year. Although there were some points in the combining of the two companies I didn't care for, I'm much happier in how my email has been handled. Yahoo! Mail...

Pros: Access your email from ANY computer with web access! Cons: none
I'm homeless, hence, I don't own my own computer. But I own/operate a half dozen business that are either completely or partially web-based. This makes Yahoo Mail a godsend!
Yahoo is a full-functioned email service. Not only can you read...

Pros: many features, easy to use, free Cons: none
This, I think, has got to be my favorite e-mail service. I am currently using three e-mail providers, hotmail, yahoo, and juno. I never meant to have three different e-mail addresses but it just ended up that way.
Yahoo is the most reliable...

Pros: Very reliable, 6 meg mailbox Cons: Interface somewhat quirky
Extremely dependable
Since I abandoned Hotmail due to spam, Yahoo! has provided by far the best freemail service I've seen.
I have used Yahoo's other services minimally, so the benefits others might realize from having a Yahoo ID...

Pros: EVERYTHING! Cons: none I can think of
There was a time a while ago when I didn't have a computer and had very little access to a computer. I was never in the same place and nobody ever really knew where to find me. I decided to setup an email address that I could access no matter where I...

Pros: Email accessable on any web browser Cons: Yahoo can sell the address
Overall, Yahoo! Mail is pretty good. It allows users to access their e-mail just about anywhere there is a web browser. In fact, I used it to check my e-mail when I was on a business trip in Germany. Also, by using it, I can keep my home e-mail...
