Pros: Free, Easy Cons: None
Yahoo! Mail is an excellent way to check your POP mail while away from home and also doubles as a good junk mail bin. Although I rarely use it to compose mail it is most capable of doing so including attachments.

Pros: Free, good service with no spam or porn. Cons: None that I can think of.
The common phrase, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!" doesn't apply when your talking about Yahoo! Mail. Yahoo! Mail is a wonderful e-mail service that is the best price, FREE. It has been around for quite some time and many...

Pros: Loads of services, shouldn't go bust yet!, email filter Cons: Layout, only 6MB of space,
Introduction
At one point I would never use Yahoo in any shape or form solely because in my eyes it was too big a company, too commercial, too uncool for the Net and too many people used Yahoo who had no idea about the Internet and as a...

Pros: Plenty of functions and ease of use! Cons: Only 3mb for mail space but you can purchase more if you want, and you can only attach files up to 1.5mb per e-mail.
Of all of the free e-mail services out there, Yahoo! Mail is the best. Yahoo! Mail offers many different functions:
1. Create multiple folders for different types of mail.
2. Ability to filter mail and deliver them to the appropriate...

Pros: Simple and elegant interface! Cons: NIL.
Yahoo! Mail is the best free web-based email service I've ever used. The major players for this market include Yahoo!, MSN Hotmail, and Mail.com. But clearly, Yahoo! towers above them all. As part of the portal of portals, Yahoo! Mail is a critical...

Pros: free, some privacy protection Cons: sometimes flaky, no real recourse when things go wrong.
I was first "forced" into Yahoo! Mail when Yahoo! merged with Geocities. My Geocities e-mail account was rolled into a Yahoo! account, with automatic forwarding for eternity, as far as I can tell. It's been well over a year, and I still get the...

Pros: Nice and fast Cons: The "You have no new mails" message
Today, just a few minutes ago, I logged on to the net, fired up my browser and headed straight to www.yahoo.com to check my mail. I entered in my user id, my password, clicked on the "Login" button and waited with a big smile on my face. ...

Pros: Fast, functional, easy and recognizible Cons: Problems in the past plague what has evolved into a great system
Essentially, when you use Yahoo! Mail you've got everything you need at your fingertips -- lots of free space, an easy-to-remember email address, a solid brand name behind your own. But the best way to utilize Yahoo! Mail is to incorporate it into the My...

Pros: Both reliable. No pressure at Alta Vista Cons: Alta Vista a tad slow.
Two great mail services. I began with Yahoo and am very loyal to them. Yahoo negatives: Space pressure at around 2 MB. You are constantly reminded to add storage. (25 MB available for $20 a year.)
Yet, if your are a serious correspondent,...

Pros: POP3 email checking, email forwarding, standard webmail features, can specify return address Cons: possible spam just for having email account
I use my Yahoo! email account mostly to check my POP3 email account when I'm at someone else's house. You can configure up to three POP3 email accounts to check with Yahoo! mail, all for free. It's a really simple way to do it. It also has that...
