Pros: Free! great to keep in touch, oh and did i mention it is free?
Cons: Can be unreliable, but new version is alot more stable.
Summary: I joined yahoo chat about 2 years ago, was only in there for 5 mins before I was downloading messenger. Back then it was a simple messenger tool, just like your MSN. It was unreliable, pretty basic, and pretty common.

Summary: Yahoo! Messenger was the first one I ever got, and I rate it by far the best. With the pop-ups of "who's online", you're rarely left constantly checking the main board. And I love using the voice feature.
