Pros: Watching pathetic people argue about something they actually deem relevant. Cons: By being there to witness these people, you risk being lumped in with their pathetic tribe.
If you have nothing better to do than sit at your computer, praying for your little life to be validated by the "bing" of yahoo messenger telling you that you have mail, or telling you that one of your other lifeless buddies is now online ready...

Pros: have more status to choose from Cons: program problems
At first I thought Messenger would work just as good as Yahoo Pager and now I wish I had never do the change over from them one to Messenger. When starting up, it has a mind of it's own and with the exception on some nice additions, it has been nothing...

Pros: Easy to use, large amount of option Cons: popup windows in case of someone sending you a message
With the years of development Yahoo Messenger, formerly Yahoo Pager, seems to be some of the best software on the market you can get (except for ICQ, of course). Yahoo keeps coming up with new ideas for their tool, and lately I've been quite impressed...
