I stayed with Verizon DSL for a month but found that Comcast, although more expensive is many times faster.

I don't know much about their DSL, but I couldn't find a listing for their web hosting here. Avoid Concentric's (now XO) web hosting services like the plague they are!

I've had very good results with a GTE DSL local-loop and third-party ISP. I can't speak to GTE as an ISP, but their local-loop end works great.

IF Telocity finds funding and dedicates it to upgrading technology, it may provide service which customers expect. Present management has a corporate deathwish, it seems. Go find a reliable alternative..!

Get another provider! There local Chicago network is overwhelmed with traffic. They have no plans to fix it.
