Details: Public beta testing of new Unix based Macintosh operating system. Promises much greater reliability and stability but the interface will be changing dramatically and it may not be a comfortable transition for most current Macintosh users. The beta will have a lot of rough edges and incomplete features until the 1.0 version is released in spring 2001.
