ePocrates Rx 4.0 is a drug reference for handheld devices. It is a free program that can be downloaded for FREE at www.epocrates.com, and contains over 99% of the most commonly prescribed medications. It includes a multiple drug interactions check, retail pricing, packaging descriptions, tables and mechanism of action. The multiple drug interaction check feature allows users to select a group of up to 30 drugs and check for any potential interactions. It also contains information on adult dosing, pediatric dosing, contraindications, cautions, drug-drug interactions, adverse reactions, and drug class. The program can be updated by performing a HotSync operation to the ePocrates server. |
