Pros: hip , snappy, easy to use on-line journal Cons: can bloat up your browser
Blogger is a quirky name derived from the concatenation of "Web" & "Log" and that's really what the software does, too: bring your journal or "logbook" to the World Wide Web. But what makes Blogger special is its...
Pros: Innovative, easy, FREE, allows just about anyone to make their own website! Cons: Requires a bit of prior knowledge, their servers are a little slow at times
My goodness, what did the internet do before it had Blogger?
If you've spent even a little bit of time going through personal websites I know that you've seen a weblog. They're everywhere. And the phenomenon seems to be getting bigger and...
Pros: Effective, Easy to Use, Simple Overall Process Cons: Helps to have some HTML or Programming Knowledge
I decided to turn my website into a weblog several months ago. Wanting to avoid the hazards and tribulations of updating my page daily, pulling down the html file wherever I was, modifying it, and uploading it again, I decided to put my Cold Fusion...
Pros: update webpages from anywhere at anytime, easy to use, push-button publishing, no more updating HTML Cons: basic knowledge of HTML needed, no spell checker
A few months ago I couldn't visit more than a few websites without coming across a mention of Blogger. I ignored the first few comments about it thinking it wasn't anything I would be interested in. But my curiosity got the best of me one day and...
Pros: Makes news page updates a cinch Cons: Javascript posting doesn't work on Mac or Netscape

Pros: Free and easy to use from any computer Cons: rumors of backed up servers, and spell check will set you back with Pro
I've kept an online journal off and on since I plugged into the net in 1995. Back in those days, having a web log (smoosh those words together and drop the "we" and you get the techie-term "blog" from which Blogger gets its name) required moderate to...
Pros: It's an easy, fun way to make a website and let your readers/family/friends know what you're up to at the same time. Also, it can be therapeutic :-) Cons: The site can be a little bit slow at times. Just bear with it; they've been doing a lot of upgrades to keep up with the influx of new users.
Well, it's official: The word "Blog" can now be used as a noun ("I'm a blog-a-holic!"), an adjective ("We'll have a blogging good time!"), AND a verb ("Pardon me while I blog"). It's just a fun word!
Pros: Extremely useful. Cons: Interface is far better in windows than in linux.
I had been reading several weblogs on the Internet for months before I decided to try my own. I am fairly adept at HTML, JavaScript, and what not, but found the formatting a little unwieldy for the speed with which I wanted to post my thoughts. ...

I've worked on the Internet for going on five years, and I am stunned I never knew about Web logs (I hear they're often called Blogs for short). I discovered them last week reading reviews right here in the Web Building section at epinions. This...
Pros: Free, handy, can have multiple blogs under one account, total layout control Cons: Must have a website account with FTP
Blogger is by far the best weblog/on-line journal I've ever used. It has no ads at the moment, you can have multiple logs under your one login account, and you can easily create new ones with just a few clicks.
Pros: Update your updates with ease. Cons: For the security-concerned, having Blogger sign into your FTP site might be an issue.
I used to write "journal entries" of sorts in my personal web page. This would involve typing up the entry then copying and pasting it into HTML. I never used any specific programs to facilitate the whole process.
Pros: Very easy to use, extremely customizable and flexible. Cons: none considering its a FREE service
The story
