Pros: works for me, but agree w/ other comments, but it is cheap and moves
Cons: wish it allowed multiple users
The Bottom Line: worth a try if you do not want to have your main computer running all day just for a camera and this one moves.

See if you can access my camera (viewing our rose garden, if windy you can see movement between frames or the cat), try entering http://veocam.hopto.org:81 (user=guest, pw=whowho). active x script must be allowed w/ internet explorer, tools, internet options, security, custom levels, only "prompt" for signed active x controls needed.
(Alternate free naming system for the ip address from no-ip.com. cable co has not changed ip addr.) Guest does not have access to moving the camera view 120degrees, plus up and down, or sound. the camera is sensitive to any bright light in frame which causes a glare anywhere vertical from the light area. the camera does self adjust a bit for varying brightness, but will not be useable if dark outside. turning on sound will blank the picture for a moment, but then you can hear ok.
I like checking it from work to see if there are any invaders in my home or backyard. I have a cable conn and router set to allow access to the camera port 81 to get around cable block of port 80. not easiest thing to setup, but doable. the company is still updating the software regularly, so that is a good sign. you can record video from the camera or take a snapshot at 640x480.
perhaps a better camera, but for more money can be obtained from axis?that would be a true server.
