I was looking for a good, yet inexpensive, camera for my daughter. We needed to replace the one that is now residing somewhere on the bottom of the Sound! I knew what I was looking for and set out to find it at the best price and that is how I found Beachcamera.com
FINDING WHAT YOU NEED
There are three ways to find what you are looking for ~
1. The Search option which works by keyword or product number.
2. The blue bar located on the top right side with the 6 main categories ~
• HOME
• CAMERAS
• DIGITAL CAMERAS
• CAMCORDERS
• PDA'S
• PRINTERS
This bar remains unchanged and follows you around as you shop.
3. The side bar with 9 options ~
• PHOTO
• VIDEO
• DIGITAL IMAGING
• COMPUTERS & PDA'S
• AUDIO
• HOME & OFFICE
• BINOCULARS/SCOPES
• ACCESSORIES
• CLEARANCE
When you go to one of the above categories, the side bar changes to sub categories for that department. For example when I clicked on the PHOTO link the side bar choices changed to these 11 choices ~
• CAMERAS
• CAMERA ACCS
• 35MM LENSES
• LENS ACCS
• FLASHES
• FLASH ACCS
• AUDIO
• HOME & OFFICE
• BINOCULARS/SCOPES
• ACCESSORIES
• CLEARANCE
Since the side bar changes when you are in any department, you have to use the upper bar or search options to visit a different area.
SHOPPING
When you find a product you are interested in you can click on either the products name or picture to get a larger view, more information, it's availability and manufacture number. You can also add the product directly to your cart by clicking the buy now link.
On this same page they will also list the different bonus kits and/or accessories for that item and what they cost. You can add those to your cart at that time also.
They often have a click to get a better price which will lead you to a window where you put in your email address and they email you the price. The say it is because they are selling it below the manufacture's lowest advertised price. I find it a pain and an extra step or hoop I don't want to jump through!
To purchase an item, you simply click on the add to shopping cart. You can then continue shopping or head to checkout.
Once you are ready to checkout you need to give all the regular billing and mailing information. After picking a password, you will be able to have this information on file and save time checking out in the future.
After ordering you will get a confirmation email within minutes and then another one with the tracking number when your order is shipped.
SHIPPING
When you add an item to your cart, the shipping options will appear in a drop down bar.
All items are shipped Fedex and there are four shipping choices available ~
• Fedex Ground (10 days)
• Fedex Saver (5-7 days)
• Fedex 2 day (2-4 days)
• Fedex Overnight (1-2 days)
I used the Fedex Ground and it arrived to the West Coast in only 6 days!
They offer FREE shipping on any order of $50 of accessories or accessory bundles. If you are buying non accessory items at the same time, you are still charged shipping for those products.
THIS AND THAT
** You can place an order over the phone at 800-572-3224 the same number works for customer service by pressing 2 when prompted.
** Returns at the Beach Camera Online store are subject to a 5% restocking fee or 10% if the box has been opened.
** Sales tax is added only to orders shipped to addresses in the state of New Jersey.

After searching around a huge number of sites and checking B&M stores, Beachcamera.com easily gave me the best price ~ even after adding in their shipping cost.
The Beach Camera Online Store is easy to navigate, has clear pictures, accurate descriptions, quick delivery and great prices. Saying that, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good deal.
As always be sure to search (then search some more) to make sure you are getting the best possible deal!
