This was one of the defining albums of my teen years, and you did such a tremendous job reviewing it, that it made me revisit that great CD. Thank you!

Great job here - I'm so glad you've done one more Bjork review. Heh-heh, now there are two more left (three with 'Selmasongs') - say reviewing Bjork is fun, ain't it? I gotta return to that someday too. ENJOYED!!

That one's my favorite. 'Post' would take the silver. 'Homogenic' the bronze. But I like them all, including the amazing 'Debut'. Oh well, whatever.

Actually, I've heard that Icelanders tend to be a little . . . mercurial, shall we say? It certainly shows in her music -- maybe she was just being true to her roots.

No joke. I just saw the video again of that incident yesterday. I still laugh at it. Though--in reality--one look at her would have told any reporter that she was a tiny bit off kilter that day...

... every time I see her CD covers or hear her name - the image of her flipping out on the reported that was stalking her comes to mind. This innocent looking little waif snapping and attacking a reporter ... it reminds me to never name fun of her name when she's within earshot :]
