The Champion once again

The Bottom Line So if you want to be entertained with some good Christian music, I highly recommend you catch Carman on his Heart of A Champion tour.

On February 16th 2001 I went to my 6th Carman concert. Every concert of his that I’ve gone to before were free admission, this concert was no different. However, you have the option of buying advanced admission tickets for $5. If you purchase these tickets, you are able to get in a half hour ahead of those getting in free. That is what we opted to do this time. And I have to say that it was well worth it. We were able to get on the 8th row, which was just right. Any farther back and we wouldn’t have seen all that well, however they do have the big screens that project what’s going on on stage for those who are unable to see as well.

Zoe Girl and Russ Lee both performed and very well I might add. Now like I said this was my 6th concert and I have never been disappointed in Carman’s performance. I have to
say I was just the tinniest bit disappointed. He had fewer costume changes and he did less dancing than in previous concerts. And he didn’t even sing Heart of a Champion, which is the name sake of this tour. The back up dancers had costume changes and were exceptional dancers. He sang old favorites as well as new ones. The lighting was excellent and the over all performance of the entire concert was good. And his message still comes across loud and clear.

I would not discourage anyone from going. It is well worth the experience. I was with someone who had never been to one of his concerts and they enjoyed it greatly and was
not disappointed in the least.
