I've had this phone now for about 5 months. In that time I have had nothing but problems with it. Its just a crappy phone, and anyone that says anything good about this phone is crazy!!
The problems are plentiful, I go to the mountains in the winter, this is the only phone I know of that says it has a 'STAND BY' feature, that DOES NOT WORK. It supposedly is supposed to go in stand by mode when it can't find a signal, but instead what happens is that it actually uses MORE power while in stand by mode, which drains the battery in 2 hours. If you go somewhere, where there is no signal TURN OFF THE PHONE!! I know this to be a bug with the phone b/c my mom also has this same phone and her's does the same thing in stand by mode, it kills the battery, and the phone won't cut on.
Then next thing that stinks is the clarity of voice. I have more people that I speak too that complain they just can't hear what I'm saying, the way I remedy the situation is going to speaker phone, which kills the battery 3 times as fast as not using the speaker phone feature.
The battery life on this thing is terrible. I mean, I want everyone to make me a promise that you will not burder yourselves with this phone. My girlfriend thinks my phone would be good for target practice. In fact, I'm taking her up on her offer and getting another phone.
Bottom Line do not waste your money on this piece of #$@#$.
