You wrote: "We have AT&T service which FedExs the phone already configured and activated. Charging took no time at all and I started playing with it within 3 hours of receiving it. The quick charge is truly fastmore about that later."
Then you wrote: "Downloading requires you to be WAP enabled which means you can access the internet from your telephone. Detailed instructions are included and with my plan were charged by the minute. Connecting to the Internet is done through the Services screen and is very easy to dobookmarking and browsing can be customized."
AT&T doesn't offer Internet access on digital plans and didn't at the time this digital phone came on the market. I also have a foundation account with AT&T and asked about Internet access when ordering this phone well in advance of its AT&T national release date. I believe if you had this phone and Cingular service, you would have the ability to use that feature.
Unfortunately, in an effort to get everyone on board with their Next Generation (GSM/GPRS) plan, AT&T eliminated WAP access for digital plans at the end of 2002, several months earlier than the initial marketing of the Nokia 3560.

The Nokia 3560 as I hold the box mine came in I read your review. Excellent and very informative. The service in my area is challanged if I may be polite. I have had several phones with less then anticipated (another understatement) results. However when good ol AT&T had their promotion for this phone I went to my local AT&T store (Big mistake) They had not seen the phone in 6 months and were rude (a bigger understatement) so the 800 number was the one and it made it. Works better then anticipated (a understatement but hey..) Great sound. Cant seem to find ringtones to d/l though. Great games (bye bye snake) like bowling and backgammon....Best phone I have ever had....maybe I should have reviewed it but yours said it sll. :)

there seems to be millions of features on this phone for such a cheap price. My friend bought a phone (T730) from AT&T and he hates it, hates the service and all. Glad you enjoy yours :)
Check my review of the T720 out at http://www.epinions.com/content_114507484804

Excellent review. I recently bought the 3565, sister of the 3560, after a misadventure with the 8390. I'll be typing a review soon on the 3565.
I'm only concerned about the standby time numbers you gave us. According to my reference on the internet, the 3565 should have atleast 3 times more standy time than you mentioned in your review. You might want to keep an eye on that.
Good thing you didn`t take the extended warranty, since Nokia phones rarely stop working unless you plunge them in water.
Other than that, you did an excellent job!
