No problem... (Reply to this comment)

I didn't touch on the Intellivision as much as I did with the Atari, so it's easy to miss my Intellivision reference.
The system did have a few great games, most notably its sports titles and a few shooters. Some Intellivision games are available now for PCs and there was an Intellivision collection for PlayStation.
Again, thanks for reading. :)

I can remember... (Reply to this comment)

playing with an Intelivision when I was about five years old. Then came Atari. We had them all. My dad has always been an electronics junkie,so anything new,we got. Looking back,it just blows my mind at how the world of home gaming systems have changed. Great review.

Intellivision clarification (Reply to this comment)
by offspringer
I did mention the Intellivision, including it with the Atari Era. While Intellivision fans may disagree, the Atari VCS was the more recognizable console of the period before the Great Video Game Crash and that is why I used the Atari name for the period. The Intellivision actually came out slightly after the Atari VCS was first introduced and was somewhat competitive (remember the George Plimpton ads?).
Thanks for your comment. I hope I have clarified things a bit better, and thanks for taking the time to read my work.
