I wholeheartedly recommend it, unless you're really skittish about ghosts. There isn't that much to see in Jerome, but this is a definite attraction. I think I heard that you can also visit the old mine tunnels, but I missed this. Jerome Historic Park is worth a visit, too.
The big attraction for me, though, was its ghost folklore. Jerome is saturated with ghost stories.
If you go, it would be fun to read your impressions on the Jerome Grand.

I'd like to thank you for writing such a wonderful review about your Jerome Grand Hotel experience. I had heard about this hotel from some friends who had stayed there many years ago. (They didn't seen any ghosts, either!) And, it was nice to read your perspective on the place! I've been contemplating a trip to Arizona in the near future, and was thinking about booking a couple nights at the Jerome Grand. I still haven't made a definite decision about that, yet. But, your review has given me more to contemplate about the hotel!

It's a fabulous hotel, especially if you like historical buildings. The owners have maintained at least 95% of its original design. It has an excellent restaurant as well.
