The Bottom Line There are much better "get paid to surf" companies out there, but if you're prepared to wait, and have a large network of friends then this is perfect.

I subscribed to this one because of my ADSL connection and the fact that I am online whenever I am working on the computer. The first month I was on I managed to accumulate a large 6033 adverts viewed (this is how it is calculated instead of hours or money earned) which I thought would get me the required $60 which I need to claim my first cheque. Little was I to know....
After two months of waiting and reducing my screen size whilst working, I logged onto http://www.desktopdollars.com and low and behold I could find out exactly how much I had made: $1.27. Imagine my surprise. I have to wait about 50 odd months to get the cheque at this rate: $0.0002(i think) per advert. That's just less than 300,000 adverts I have to view. Enough stats though...
The way that money is to be made is through referrals. There are a few tiers which make you some money, and you can end up having thousands of referrals to make the money for you. Unfortunately, since I abhor spamming and here in merry ol' England not many people have direct connections to the internet, so it isn't possible to earn loads through this.
I would recommend this to someone who has a large network of friends all of whom have no problem with a bar across the top of their screen, and of course they should have a direct connection to the internet.
The bar itself is just the bog standard bar with a little place to perform searches on the internet and the adverts are pretty inoffensive (although sometimes blinding me with flashes and quick animations).
REFERRALS is the way to go!!
