Thanks for noticing the pic! No new version for me - I am happy with this one, and I do my taxes with TaxCut.

Nice Epinion (Reply to this comment)

I've been using Quicken for several years and like it, most recently, I started printing checks. Are you going to upgrade to the 2001 version? I got the suite because TurboTax was free with it, but there was very little else that was new, except for downloading securities values.
I like the new profile picture, too.
Keep 'em coming!

But I like to know what my options are.

Nice review - but I will always hate Quicken (Reply to this comment)
by momofchris
Thankfully they have fixed a few of the bugs in it, but some years ago I audited (I'm a CPA) several clients that used Quicken. The darn program allowed them to balance the check book simply by creating entries to non existent accounts! We became very skilled at figuring out where the program would put these items. It's OK for home use, but I still don't recommend it for business.

Informative (Reply to this comment)

We use MS money 99 because that is what our system came with. I have wondered if Quicken would be a more valid choice. So far money is accomplishing the task. However, I certainly don't utilize all of its functionability.

I love Quicken (Reply to this comment)
by prfstars
I've been using Quicken for just under a year now, and it's nothing short of miraculous. It used to take me forever to balance my checkbook, but now, I reconcile it in a matter of minutes. I especially love that I can schedule transactions that occur every month (direct mortgage payment, for example) so I never forget to record them.
I haven't used Quicken to print checks yet, but I'm going to check out pcchecks.com tonight. I'm accustomed to duplicate checks, but then again, a year ago, I was accustomed to a paper register.
Great review.
