...This is still a fine place, especially for book, movie and product reviews. It's disappointing only in the way that looking at an old picture of yourself is - you miss the person you once were. All that youth, vitality and innocence. I miss the old site, without the word restrictions on comments and with the old home pages (mine plugged some of the same people you mentioned). This version's not bad, just a little creakier and a little less easy on the eyes.

Peter, I continue to enjoy your writing as well, and look forward to more of it. I have no idea how long I will stick around here; I just posted a book review but right now many of the books I want to review are not in the database, and "Travel Destinations", my main haunt, is in ruins. So it's up to them.
Anyway, thanks again for the plug.

that my continued presence might be considered a "pro." Thanks much; I certainly concur on your other selection of NFP, hadassahchana and sloucho, and will certainly look into the work of mshawpyle and pluckyduck. Some darn good work is still being output by jrk & kchowell, among others.
I seem to remember that janesbit1 was active in the 2/15 chat session, perhaps Mr. Nesbit will return in force soon.
