Aromaleigh Mineral Make-up
This is my very first review on an on-line store, so please feel free to leave a comment if I’ve forgotten any important info. :O)
I’ve only been using this make-up for a short time but love it and hope by writing about this site that I will help insure the success of this business, although I don’t think she really needs it. :O)
Aromaleigh.com is all about mineral make-up and natural skin care. The amount of variety for a small company is very nice and they have the BEST and FASTEST shipping I’ve ever run across. No lie, it is awesome!
The home page is done is purple, pink and green. Yes, I know sounds awful but it is very tasteful and easy on the eyes. It tells ya its Aromaleigh, pure, natural, beautiful…mineral cosmetics, aromatic skincare, cosmetic brushes & tools. Click on one of these (the last three listed) and that is where it will take ya. Simple and easy.
Along the bottom of the page are the listing for...view your order; search our site, customer service, about aromaleigh, online forum and e-mail.
The on-line forum is a great place to meet other AL lovers, to get tips and just have fun. This is where you will also first hear about any sales or coupons that will be coming up.
There is also a photo gallery; yup you can see what AL looks like on others who use this product. These ladies have applied their own mu and have hubby or whoever take a picture of them. I really like this as it gives me idea on what to expect and what can be done with this make-up.
You will also find information on how to determine if you are cool, warm or neutral classification on the color chart. How to order cosmetic samples and can compare AL to other mineral make-up lines.
If you click on mineral cosmetic’s you will be taken to a page where you can choose which type of cosmetics you want to look at, for example, Mineral Primer, Foundation & Finishing Powder,
Pure Blush Loose Powder or Pure Shine Lip Glosses.
Ok, let’s say you clicked on Pure Eye Loose Powders, now you need to decide if you want matte or frost. There are 34 shades of frost and 34 shades of matte shadows and there are two more lines of shadows available at the moment in sample size only. Pictures of each color are provided but please remember it may be a bit different in real life than on your computer screen.
Some of the shades you will find are:
FROSTED LINE;
Wish – soft pale pink
Aloe – yellow green
Gilt – sheer shimmer of gold (one of my favorites)
MATTE LINE:
Copen – deep romantic blue – (lovely with gilt)
Hyacinth – palest sweetest purple
These come in a .33 oz clear frosted jar with a sifter and is $7.25. You can apply these wet or dry for a dramatic or soft look. A little bit goes a long way, too.
Do you need something for your lips? Try a color wash, you won’t regret it. These can be used for lips or cheeks and are soft sheer colors. I have petal and love it and I’m currently waiting on two more I’ve ordered. They come in 12 colors and are packaged a 4 gram stackable jar with a swivel out pot. They sell for $7.00 and again a little goes a long way.
COLORS;
Petal – a soft, pink wash of color. Delicate rose blossoms, baby pink
Poppy - A shimmering rosy peach with a hint of shimmer coral.
Apollo - Pure gold with a pinky highlight, use this alone or use to layer and enhance your other favorite colorwash shades.
If you need to know the ingredients for any of these products they are listed at the bottom of each product page.
You will also find skin care products such as cleansers and toners along with a chart to help you pick out the correct products for your skin type.
Brushes and tools are also offered from Kabuki, sable brushes, taklon and flocked sponges. The brushes have cute names that stick with you, like Sexy, small eye shadow brush make of goat and sable hair for $6.40 or Pouty, a lip brush of sable hair for $6.80.
The foundations come in 31 shades and are a bit different than your regular mineral cosmetics. AL powders do not give you a shiny or “glowy” look. I know many are unable to use some mineral make-ups due to this problem making them look like an oil-slick. Others may have been sensitive to some of the products used in other mineral make-ups. AL only uses pure refined cosmetic grade minerals and does not use bismuth with is an irritant to many people.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO:
Return Policy-
All return must be made within 30 days of the receipt of your order.
Products must be unused and bottles and labels must be in new, unscuffed condition.
Bottle seals if applicable cannot be broken.
Returns must be authorized by Aromaleigh. You will be given a Return Authorization Number to include on the outside of your return.
Shipping charges or return shipping charges are not refunded.
Returns must be shipped by insured carrier.
Non-Returnable items are brushes, jars, sponges/ applicators, cosmetic bags, limited edition cosmetic kits, custom blended powders and cosmetic samples.
Information is also given with each order on what to do if your order arrives damaged or if they made a mistake.
All this information is sent with each and every order.
E-mail confirmation is sent with each order along with a shipping number and link to track your order.
Orders are shipped via Fed-Ex and any orders over $20 can be shipped via Fed-Ex 3 day for a dollar more.
You will have to slap me with a wet noodle because I don’t have exact shipping charges. I can tell you what my orders have cost me.
Order # 1 totaled $23.50 and I used a $5.00 coupon for first time order. (Had to be over $20) shipping for this order was $4.95 for FedEx Ground which is 3-10 business days.
Note: I received this order in two days!!
Order # 2 came to $60.50 and shipping cost me $8.95 for FedEx 3 day.
Order # 3 was $56.05 and again shipping was $8.95 for FedEx 3 day. I received this one in 2 days.
There have been no errors, mistakes or damaged products. I have received every item perfectly.
