I still use Simple green, and will continue to. The active ingredient is NOT sasafrass. They use an artificial safrass scent. The ingredients are an emulsifier, and a surfactant, wetting agents, color and scent. The reason real sasafrass is not used, as a perfume agent is that it is toxic. They do not divulge the actual ingredients because they do not want knock offs.
I only assume that is because a natural product cannot be patented, so therefore they are protected by other laws. They did provide a contact number . 1800-228-0709.

I like the product ans still feel it is safer than many other cleaning products, but you have to read the back of the bottle and follow the dilution recommendations.
