i am a microsoft certified professional and i own a repair business and i could tell you right now, its the operating system...the first version of win me is almost as bad as the first version of win 95 was
my friend's 933 MHz HP desktop with win me is also a daily crasher
let us hope next month's win xp will be more stable

I have a three-year-old Toshiba laptop (445CDX) and have been trying to decide whether to buy a new Toshiba or buy more memory for this one. Because I would like a larger hard disk, I had been leaning towards buying a new machine. Now, after reading your review, I think I will just buy more memory and buy more zip disks.
