I've been using Quark for years at this point, but I've only recently upgraded to version 4.1. After a couple of weeks, I decided to review the product.
Overall, it's a great software package and I can't recommend it enough for producing any type of catalog, packaging or advertisement. I've used most of the competition's products and none compare to this industry standard. The new version doesn't add as many tools as I would have liked, but it does add some basic functionality. I see it as a decent upgrade from the original. The price tag, however, quickly lets you know that Quark views itself as the only player in the market.
Do I recommend it? Obviously I do, it is a wonderful product. If you've never used it you may want some instruction - look for a class in your area.
