Although I'm not certain, I think my first online purchase might have been at drugstore.com. If not... I can guarantee that this was one of the first five online merchants that I patronized. A lot has changed since those first web shopping days, so many stores so little time, yet I continue to appreciate --and shop at-- drugstore.com.
I have always been pleased with the selection and usually the pricing is comparable or lower than what I expect. Every order, and trust me there have been many, has arrived in a timely fashion. The orders have been accurate, no products have ever been damaged, and the charges accurate. Overall I am exceptionally pleased with this online merchant and highly recommend them.

This merchant has frequent specials so I recommend signing up for email alerts or checking at currentcodes.com. I have received percentages off, free shipping, free trial products, full size products for free, and buy-one-get-one-free deals. Across the board the merchandise at drugstore.com is reasonably priced. But, as with most merchants, there are certain items that you can find less expensive elsewhere. However that is usually the result of the other merchant having a special. Such was true with regard to the recent special that ULTA.com had on the got2b hair care line, and on L'Oreal nail polish. But their normal pricing is comparable to drugstore.com.
I have always felt that the search options at drugstore.com were good. This merchant offers specific ways to shop:

Additionally they offer a standard search bar that I have successfully used numerous times.
Originally I was drawn to drugstore.com for items such as the Kiss My Face line. There was a chapter of time that I used their facial care line, and it was challenging to find it locally. Also the pricing at drugstore.com was much lower. During that same phase there were certain prescriptions that I had to purchase myself. Again, the pricing at this online site was lower. As time progressed, I branched out, trying multiple other online shops. However drugstore.com is a merchant that I consistently patronize. My order contents have varied, usually including cosmetics, over-the-counter medicines, and bath & body supplies.
Since those original shopping excursions, the inventory at drugstore.com has increased, now including a sexual well-being shop complete with erotic massage products, sex toys, bachelorette gifts, lubricants and more. Thus including items such as the Chocoholics Divine Desserts that my hubby and I enjoyed.
This merchant carries numerous brands, too many to even attempt to list. You will find the typical assortment of brands that are sold at chain drug stores and much more. I suggest visiting the site, and selecting shop by brand from the left side bar. You will view an alphabetical listing, allowing you to understand the brands offered.
