Best bedroom television on the market with a lot of features and a great price.

The Bottom Line: The Toshiba 20AF42 20 in. television is the best, most equipped, and valuable one in this size range. The flat screen is really worth it compared to standard tubes.

I wanted to get a stereo television for our bedroom since we had just got digital cable and the mono TV was just not cutting it. After much research, I bought the Toshiba 20AF42 and it was probably one of the best buys I have ever made.
The picture tube is a flat screen and I thought, "big deal", but you know what, it is a big deal. The flat screen makes the TV look about 2 to 3 inches bigger. The best thing about this Toshiba though is the picture. It has the most vibrant of any television its size I have ever seen. It completely blows away the Sony 27 inch that is about 6 years old that is in our family room. Other nice things about the Toshiba are the sound, menu features, and 3 separate audio and video inputs with one in the front of the TV and component video as well.
The only negative I have, which is a minor one is that the buttons are placed differently than my Sony and Panasonic remotes so when changing channels, I often make mistakes if I have been watching the Sony a lot that day. This is very minor and more my problem than Toshiba's manufacturing.
All in all, you cannot find a better television in this size that has more features for a better price. This has my absolute highest recommendation. Also, as a bonus, it has come down in price in just the year since I have bought it to where regular price is $30 less now at Best Buy.
