The worst experience I have ever had shopping on line.

Ease of Ordering:
Ordered this air conditioner back in late May. Did not ship until late June. Recieved damaged product. Refused delivery. Called for a new one on Monday, June 23. Was told they would ship a new immediately. Recieved shipping confirmation on Sat, June 28. Recieved on July 8 damaged with a slight dent. Signed for it and my husband installed it in the window. The fan did not turn. There is a piece broken off inside and jammed in the fan. Called customer service. They will not replace and will not refund shipping for recieving two damaged products. Customer service reps were very rude and refused to give the information needed to try to have it fixed thru the warranty company.

Re: experience shopping on line. Aug 15, 2003 During the summer season you should allow more time for delivery when ordering air conditioner. At the time when first unit was received damaged we timely replaced the unit (within 1 week) and customer was advised not to accept merchandise with an obvious damage. Even those he noticed slight dent on the second unit, he decided to accept it.
After the unit was installed, any mechanical problem with the unit has to be referred to Manufacture for service. At the time when customer called our customer service to report the problem with the unit, they were giving an 800 number for service.
