If you asked me a week ago if I would spend $200 for a kitchen garbage can I would have laughed at you in incredulity. I happened to look at this beautiful object in a house that we visited and fell in love with it immediately. THis item is one of the most utilitarian objects in the kitchen and also the most underappreciated.
How many times have you come home and sniffed at that bad odor coming from somewhere in the kitchen? With this item, odors will be a thing of past. I purchased it after I saw it in a house that we went to visit as we shopped for houses. We keep it right outside in the kitchen beside a wall and it fits in perfectly well. Guests come and look at it and give us lot of compliments and laugh when I tell them how much it costs. The disadvantage is that this may require you to buy garbage bags at $0.70 each which I think is too expensive. However, if you are not so punctilious then you could get by with a black colored 50Gallon trash bags. I can tell you one thing, after a few weeks of use, I can conclude that I would buy it even if it is $300. Grab it you wont regret it. I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond for $200. Worth every penny.
