| arty303's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 4150 Series Notebook Computers |
Yes it has a P-4, yes it has 512mb memory. Yes it is fast. So are thousands of other laptops. One undocumented feature is it doubles as an expensive space heater. Set it bottom side up and grill a burger on it. Use SPF-1000 on your thighs if you use this laptop on your laptop. With a mouse sitting to the right side, you have the effect of a hair dryer (and as noisy) cooking your mouse-driving hand. Dell support is unaffected, unsympathetic. Poor listening and trouble-shooting skills. The performance is what I would expect for the hardware. Nothing exceptional except the display. Quite nice. The ATI Rage Mobility video adapter does a great job with my aquarium screensaver. Prompted me to buy an ATI Radeon card for my son's pc. On-board modem works quite well also. Consistent 50kbps+ connections.
