The Bottom Line: It breaks up grease and food particles and makes it easy to wipe and rinse. I will add it to my list of cleaning products.

| disartain's Full Review: Dawn Power Dissolver |
I am always looking for new cleaning products. I try this one then that one, some I keep and use again, others I never buy again. I usually use Orange Clean when I can find it; it cuts grease so well it is indispensable in the kitchen. While I was looking for the Orange Clean, which they were out of again, I came across the Dawn Power Dissolver I very seldom ever use Dawn dishwashing liquid so I did not think much of this product but decided to give it a try.
Pros
Cuts grease in minutes.
Can be used on baked, burnt on grease, and burnt on food.
Cleans stoves, grills, and I use it on different things.
I can spray it on a pot and then put it in the dishwasher and forget it. The dishwasher does the rest.
Spray bottle makes it easy to aim right where you want it to go.
Contains no phosphate
Cons
Does not come in bigger size bottles or have refills available.
The cost is a little high for this size bottle.
Only comes in 12.8 fl. OZ
How to Use it
Spray Dawn Power Dissolver on the surface to be cleaned and wait 10 to 15 minutes, for really hard stains or burnt on food you can leave on up to thirty minutes max. After waiting then wipe or rinse and the dish or pot is clean. If you use it in the dishwasher, then wait 15 minutes after spraying with Dawn and then start dishwasher.
Dont use it on copper pots or scratched non-stick surfaces, varnished or painted wood. Finally dont use it on the front of your dishwasher, lettering on appliances and dishwasher doors.
My Experience
I tried the spray on my stovetop where spaghetti sauce has spilled. Even though I wiped it up while I was cooking, I only got the liquid part and did not get all of it since I had all my burners with pots on them. I waited until after supper then I loaded the dishwasher and cleaned the sink then started on the stove. I sprayed the Dawn Power Dissolver onto the top of the stove and right away, I could see the grease and spaghetti sauce begin to dissolve. I waited about three minutes and then wiped, it was clean as a whistle.
I cleaned my coffee maker the next day with vinegar and while that was working I looked at my poor pitiful coffee pot it is glass and isnt cleaned very often {we use it all the time}. It had a film, which is on everything my water touches, and all the black coffee stains around the metal band were hard to get off. I figured I might as well try the dawn and see if it would take it off. I sprayed it on and then watched mesmerized as all the black coffee stains came floating down the glass pot. I sprayed the inside, cleaned with a brush, and rinsed and the pot was spotless. Rinsed a couple of times and after cleaning the coffee maker with vinegar, I had a brand new coffee maker and a sparkling clean pot to go with it. One of the best cups of coffee I have had.
Now dont get me wrong it is good but if something is bad, it will probably take some scrubbing. My daughter made macaroni and cheese and left the dish in the oven after it was empty. I found it two days later, {they should have known better}, anyway I sprayed the Dawn Power Dissolver and waited for the max time 30 minutes. It did loosen some of the build up, but I still had to scrub the glass casserole. Oh well, we cant have everything, although I would like to have my cake and eat it too.
