Toysrus.com - Amazon Online Store is an excellent source for purchasing toys, baby gear, and like. I have successfully completed numerous purchases with this merchant. The selection is incredible, descriptions of products are helpful and the photographs of the merchandise are good quality. Thankfully the checkout process has always been simple and quick. My orders have arrived on time, were nicely packaged, contained the proper items, and my card was accurately charged. More times than not, shipping has been free, via specials or the ongoing promotion (purchase $25 of eligible merchandise). As indicative, I am pleased with Toysrus.com and extend a shopping recommendation.

Personal Experience
Although we live fairly close to a nicely remodeled Toys R Us storefront, I prefer to purchase items via the online site versus going into the brick and mortar locale. Quite simply I find that the items I desire are easier to find via navigation of the online site and the entire process is less stressful than a visit to the – often under-stocked and sometimes overcrowded – store.
I originally patronized Toysrus.com long ago, during their initial debut. At that time the web site, ordering process, and reliability paled in comparison to the merge into Amazon. It is important to note that when shopping at the Toysrus.com - Amazon Online Store, you are merely shopping at an extension of Amazon, which also means that you can combine selections from the entire Amazon site. Although they offer the toys found at your local Toys R Us, even the "R" Exclusives, returns cannot be made at the local store (so they say). I will state that I haven't had a challenge exchanging merchandise purchased from Toysrus.com - Amazon Online Store, at the local Toys R Us. Usually I just show them my Amazon receipt, and proceed with the exchange. Your local storefront may vary, so it is important to note that the web site clearly states that returns must be completed via the online vendor.
One of the obvious attributes of the online site is the ability to shop from the comforts of your home. This also allows our children to have a large online catalog to browse amid, gleaning holiday and birthday gift list ideas. Another feature that I have enjoyed is the ability to shop for baby showers / baby arrival gifts via use of the baby registry. The registering guest must indicate that they want their list online.
There have been times that I have found the items sold at Toysrus.com - Amazon Online Store for less at a couple local retail outlets. But the convenience factor of shopping at the online outlet means a lot to me. Also I often save via savings codes received via email or at currentcodes.com. However there have been several times that the merchandise was clearance priced at Toysrus.com - Amazon Online Store, saving me an impressive amount. So overall I continue to be pleased with this merchant and will continue to patronize them.
