Many, many years ago I went to a concert. I couldn't tell you who I went to see but I can tell you the name of the opening act ~ the Joy of Cooking. I LOVED them and ended up buying all of their albums over the years. But, time moved on and all my albums got boxed away and forgotten.
Awhile back my daughter had this song playing that reminded me of them and I started looking for a CD of theirs. After searching and searching the first place I found one was at CD Universe. I wanted the album Closer to the Ground and they had a different one so, I ended up buying a couple of birthday CD's instead. But it was the Joy of Cooking that lead me there.
FINDING WHAT YOU NEED

SHOPPING
When you find something you like, you can click on the title to get a more detailed description and a picture. Some of the CD's give you the option of listening to a 30 second samples on some of the tracks. These are marked by red song notes next to the song.
To purchase something, you need to click the PRICE to Add it to your cart. This takes you to your shopping cart where you can put in a different quanity (other than 1)and then you can continue shopping or head to the checkout.
Once you are ready to checkout you need to register, giving all the regular billing and mailing information. After registering, you will be able to have this information on file and save time checking out in the future by giving them your first and last names along with your selected password.
After submitting your order you will get a confirmation number that is followed up with a detailed confirmation email.
SHIPPING
The shipping cost are determined by the number of items bought AND the type of shipping chose.
You are charged for 1, 2, 3, 4 or more than 4 items bought and then by which of the four shipping options used.
For example is you are buying 1 item you could chose Standard for $2.99, Priority for $5.99, Second Day for $8.99 or Next Day shipping for $15.99.
Standard shipping goes up one dollar for EACH item added up TO 4 items and all of the other shipping options remain the same. So, it cost you the same $5.99 to ship 1, 2, 3 or 4 items priority mail.
Once you order MORE than 4 the cost rises a flat dollar fee on standard and Priority and .98 PER item on second and next day
These are cost for US delivery and Connecticut addresses are charged an additional 6 percent sales tax.

All items are easy to locate and arrive within the delivery window and I would recommend them.
There are a lot of places to buy CD's and movies and so when you are shopping for them, be sure to check around to make sure you are getting the BEST possible deal. I would suggest you include the CD Universe Online Store in your search, it may just give you the best price!
