Aspertame - it can kill you!

The Bottom Line Please be careful about the artificially and chemically created substances that you ingest.
About two years ago - I was working long hours, installing an upgrade to the hardware for our system. After a long day, I went home and found myself not feeling well. The next morning, I was very sick. So sick, that I could not stand up straight.
My doctor, who is wonderful, saw me that morning and knew immediately what I was suffering from. Pancreatitis!!
No one knew where it came from or how I got it. Doctors kept coming into my hospital room, once I was admitted, to ask about my alcohol consumption - how much I drank, how often I drank, etc. I kept wondering why they were asking me about my drinking habits. I kept saying the only thing I drank a lot of was Diet Coke. I was so sick I wished I could die.Somehow,even though I was so sick, I was thinking that perhaps they did not believe me. Normally, people who get pancreatitis get it from excessive alcohol consumption.
While you have pancreatitis, you eat or drink nothing, not even water, so as to allow the pancreas to rest from enzyme generation. Six days later, I was still in the hospital and had almost died twice due to liver failure. Finally, I was to be released. But, none of the specialists whom I had seen during my hospital stay, knew exactly what had caused this episode of pancreatitis. Six weeks later, I was still out of work, due to the effects of this episode that knocked me on my butt - pure and simple.
Finally, after another two short episodes and still not being well for three months afterwards, I visited a homeopathic physician here in Florida. She was able to figure out what no one else could. She told me I did not have the enzymes necessary to break down the aspertame I was ingesting from the Diet Coke and if I kept drinking it, I would develop chronic pancreatitis and would probably suffer an early and painful death.
I heard her message loud and clear, and thank God for her!! She was right on the money. To this day, any substance that I ingest that has aspertame in it, about does me in. Even something as small as a piece of gum. Little did I know that I would ever have a problem with something as inocuous as aspertame.
Parents, a word of warning to you for your little people. This wonderful board certified doctor said humans were never intended to ingest aspertame in the levels that we do in diet sodas, and other diet foods, and she expressed particular concern for little people who are exposed to aspertame at such early ages. Please watch out for their little developing organs!!!
A word to the wise.....aspertame has the capacity to make you suffer and can make you seriously ill! There are several places on the net where this information can be verified.
