Please note; this is a two part review. Part one constitutes the brief description that Epinions asks for when writing a review for on-line stores. Part two is meant to satisfy the SCATS of information that the want-to-be PTBs at Epinions desire. If you want SCATS of SCADS skip to part two. If you want a brief opinion, stop at part one.
Part One
I recently made two purchases at cellphoneshop.net after discovering them through a search on Google for a specific accessory for my Motorola V60. I chose to do business with cellphoneshop.net specifically because of the products they had and that their prices were about ¼ of most accessory retailers. My purchase consisted of a case, antenna, and hands-free mic for a Motorola V60. To give a direct comparison of the costs, the leather case I purchased cost $2.90 from cellphoneshop.net. The same case at my local Verizon retail store was $29.95; at Target the case was $15.95. This savings was the number one reason I made my purchase.
The order arrived in 12 days via regular mail. The promised delivery time was 7-10 days so the time was, in my opinion, acceptable considering the shipment came from Hong Kong. The shipping cost was $4.99 for 3 items; considering my overall savings on the individual items, I cannot complain that the shipping was 50% of my total order.
I have since placed a much larger order for many people at my office and the results in both price and shipping were the same.
Overall I find that cellphoneshop.net offers the best price on cell phone accessories anywhere and I would gladly recommend them to everyone.

Part Two: SCATS of SCADS
Cellphoneshop.net in my opinion, has the best prices and selection of any cell phone accessory retailer that I have been able to find. I went on the internet looking for a silver antenna for my Motorola V60. cellphoneshop.net was the first retailer I found this antenna at and upon seeing their prices, I decided to order a few other items.
My first order consisted of the silver antenna ($2.90), a leather case ($2.90) and a hands-free mic ($2.90). Yes, all the accessories were only $2.90 each.
As a comparison I looked up the costs of these items from Verizon and Target. Neither had the silver antenna but the case and mic were a considerable savings.
Case- CFS $2.90
Verizon - $29.95
Target - $15.95
Mic- CFS - $2.90
Verizon $24.95
Target $12.95
The shipping from cellphoneshop.net was $4.99 flat but even considering that cost, I saved $46.24 ($13.69 total from CFS vs $59.93 (including tax) from Verizon with out the antenna.) In my opinion, this cost savings was worth the extra time for the shipping.
Cellphoneshop.net does not offer any other shipping options other than regular mail. They quote a 7-10 day shipping turn-around. I actually received my order in 12 days which was acceptable in my book, especially considering that the products were shipped from Hong Kong.
Cellphoneshop.net does not offer an on-line tracking option of your shipment. All inquires must be e-mailed. I did e-mail them with a shipping status about day 7 and I received a reply with in about 30 minutes; probably the fastest I have had a company respond to an inquiry.
The products I received on this order (and a subsequent order) were of the same quality as I would receive from Verizon. Some would complain that some of the items were not shipped in a product box, instead just wrapped in bubble wrap. I did not have a problem with this, although you should consider this if you are buying an items as a gift.
The product selection at cellphoneshop.net is one of the best I have seen. Cellphoneshop.net carries a complete line of accessories for Audiovox, Ericsson, Kyocera, LG, Mitsubishi, Motorola, Nextel, Nokia, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo, and Siemens phones. Cellphoneshop.net is also one of the few places I found that carry replacement LCD screens and keypads. They also carry unusual accessories such as replacement lights to change the illumination of your phone and batteries that light up when your phone rings. They also carry the anti-radiation and antenna boosters you probably have seen on commercials. I would, with out a doubt, recommend avoiding these products as they do not work.
Cellphoneshop.net even has downloadable ringtones and graphics for supported phones and they are very clear on what phones will support what. The companys knowledge of phones and different systems is apparent with many of their accessories. A good example is the antennas that light up. They state clearly that they will only work on the GSM versions of these phones from AT&T and Nextel and not the CDMA versions from Verizon. Most places I have seen in our local malls will just sell you these accessories with out checking to see if your phone will work with them.
Cellphoneshop.net has an excellent selection of batteries for Sony, Cannon, Fuji, Nikon, and JVC digital cameras. The batteries are primarily for the more top of the line professional digital cameras that use Lithium batteries. Most places retail these replacement batteries for about $100.00; at cellphoneshop.net they are priced around $36.00.
Cellphoneshop.net has a low price guarantee that if you find any accessory cheaper they will match it and take and additional 10% off the price. For people who wish to set up wholesale accounts, cellphoneshop.net will match wholesale prices and give an additional 20% discount off that price.
The website of cellphoneshop.net is very easy to navigate. The left of the page is a listing of the main phone brands. From there you select the model phone, then the accessory you are looking for. There also is a search engine for those who prefer to go directly to the product. The site has a very annoying mouse-trailer script that states Summer Clearance 80% Off where ever you move your mouse.
To most website designers their site is almost to simple. The simplicity of design works as it is almost impossible to get lost on their site or to not find what you are looking for.
I have already shopped twice from cellphoneshop.net and plan to make future purchases. I would recommend this site to anyone who is in the market for some sort of accessory for their cell phone.
