Good Speaker for a large room

PSB uses a fantastic tweeter in their Stratus series (also found in their Mini, Bronze & Goldi Speakers). It is very smooth in the upper range. The mid-range is also complete with 2 6.5" polypropylene woofers. The bass reproduction tends to be a bit boxy and somewhat incomplete. Not in terms of range (it produces very low tones) more in the acoustic follow-through. I recommend these speakers to anyone with a vaulted ceiling or an open listening room but would recommend looking at the Bronze to better accommodate a smaller room (and they're cheaper!).
In a large room, however, the Silver is a fantastic speaker. The soundstage is totally accurate and the tweeter avoids the harshness produced by the majority of speakers when using them for Home Theatre purposes. I must stress again - a large soundstage is necessary.
As tested on a Yamaha RXV800 ($600 US) & a Kenwood VR2090 with IXOS 6003 Geometry wiring.
