As a person who does a lot of Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, I often have been frustrated being "tied to the laptop" to advance the slides. Some projectors have remotes, to be sure, but every projector is different and the remotes are sometimes pretty bulky.
Atek has solved my issue with the "Tote-Remote," a small device that plugs into the USB port of any laptop running Windows 98 or newer or Mac OS 9 and newer.
Using the slim remote control (which includes a really annoying laser pointer), I can advance the program, go back or escape out of the presentation while concentrating more on the presentation and less on advancing the slides.
It comes in a cool carry pouch. The remote runs on a lithium dime battery and the product retails for $79. See it at www.atek.com
