Okay, this "indoor grill" was quite a let down when I opened the box. I received this as a gift, but unfortunately I ended up at sears 2 days later returning it. It takes so much time just to cook potatoes or burgers, and the result is tough and dry. For example, It takes over half an hour to cook 4 burgers when you can do it on the stove in 15 or 10, and the stove result is much better. Also, the process to make french fries was ridiculous! You have to cut up the potatoes and put them in an air basket, then let it cook for half an hour. At that point you have to unstick your potatoes and season and oil them. Then you have to pop them in again for about 20 minutes. In the end I was forced to microwave the potatoes, because they came out chewy and tough. One of the pros of this grill is that it is fairly large, the box claims you can cook two whole small chickens in it! It also takes quite a long period of time to heat up the heating element. The design of the grill is also very clunky, and the device that comes with the package to remove food from it is dangerous and scary to use, I almost burned myself!
Cleaning this machine is quite difficult, the food sticks and burns on the drip tray and food basket, and you have to scrub it all off! The only function on this machine is a timer that you can set from 15-30 mintues to a few hours.
I was very hopeful when I received this grill but it was a big dissapointment for me. Please be careful if you decide to purchase this grill!
