Read the policy:
"If you find a lower price at another retailer, in an OfficeMax store, OfficeMax catalog or at OfficeMax.com, we'll match the lower price instantly..."
"Exclusions: Prices found at local or special events, clearance, auctions, or companies without a physical store location in the U.S. Products and services by third party providers. Custom products, build-to-order computers, and MaxAssurance. Continental U.S. only. Guarantee does not apply to dedicated sales force customers."
Then I found a retailer DataVision with a physical store in New York with a TV for $50 less.
I called OfficeMax and they said that that store is not on the list of companies they will compete with, so they won't match the price.
What is that???!!! Where did I go wrong?!!!
I'd say that's something less than a price guarantee.

I too shop online a lot for the same reasons. It is just too hard to drag the kids on a shopping trip. Plus, online stores are open late at night after the kid go to sleep. Thanks for reading and leaving the comment.

Thanks for the additional links to other online stores. I buy online a good bit...it's really a lot cheaper than going out shopping sometimes (gas,buying lunch, sometimes dinner, letting the kids play at the arcade, buying the kids an ice cream or pretzel, Starbucks iced coffee, and the occasional "I've just gotta have it" item that you don't really need). It all adds up.
